There was a part of her that still wanted him. His gentle touch and soothing voice, his loving gaze, the taste of his lips. She missed the way everything sparkled when he was passing by. How honestly he could make her laugh. Still remembers the heat radiating from him, when he ran his hand along her back, while hidden from the world they were whispering loving confessions and promises.
Now, it's all meaningless.
