Every Inkling kid's dream is to make it big on the Turf War scene and become one of the legendary players that stand at the top. This excitable little squid is no different, and an opportunity to train with a woman well beyond her skill level isn't something she'll pass up easily. Unfortunately, not all is as it seems, and what was supposed to be summertime training quickly turns into a mess. Family drama, squidnappings, bad guys galore, school (eugh), will she be able to keep it all together and become the legendary Turf War player she's always dreamed of being?
A fan-written retelling of Splatoon 2's single-player mode.
Nintendo owns all of these properties, none of this is mine, but since it is fan-written and Splatoon isn't known for its riveting storytelling, creative liberties were taken to hopefully provide a better experience. Please don't sue me.

Splatoon 2: Octo Rising
Agent 4 has to be one of the hardest roles to fill in the world. On a peaceful day in inkopolis a young inkling named Tess finds a girl named Marie and gains her interest. Now she fills the role of agent 4 and whilst at first it seems like an easy weekly thing for Tess to do to save the electricity in inkopolis, there is a deeper story then there seems to be and with Tess' friends being put in danger there are large secrets to hide and more backstory to be told then expected. With the octarians making Their advance on inkopolis it's all up to one teenage girl to save inkopolis for good with the help of Marie but sometimes it can be hard to balance two things together and as Tess gets more involved in her missions, her friends become for suspicious of her. It's all up to her to fill her role and find out Marie's past before inkopolis drowns in octarian forces. A/N: as I'm writing this I'm correcting some of my older chapters. The ones with ")" after the number of chapters on their titles means it's been corrected.Complete

Edit of Feb 14, 2023 This book is DISCONTINUED. It was taken down around 2019? 2020 due to friends and family finding it. I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? What happens when she wanders into both paths and ends up in deeper ink than she intended to? Read the book to find out duh.... XDComplete

His life not only changes, and his unknown past life beginning to catch up with him, but it just so happens that the girls began to have feelings for him. And just to let everyone know that the arts and splatoon aren't mine, the arts belong to their owners and the splatoon belongs to Nintendo.
