This is a story about a young girl who is struggling in life with insecurities, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts, all while raising her little brother. Her best friend, Kasey, is toxic and encourages her bad habits.
Scarlette, or Scar, is a young 15 year old girl. Her mother left when she was 12, and her father is verblly abusive. She has been raising Storm, her little brother, since he turned 3. She was traumatized from the ages 7 to 10 by her mother's boyfriend. He would scream in her face about anything and would go as far as to hitting her. This caused a lot of resentment towards men and made her develop anger issues and trust issues.
Storm is a 11 year old austistic male. He suffers from ADHD and autism. He may be 11, but he has the mind of a 7 year old, making it extremely hard for Scar to care for him.
While Scar seems perfect on the outside, pretty, good grades, popular, lots of friends, a "loving" dad, she really isn't. Will her broken past and ruined present be exposed, or will she live in her personal hell for the rest of her life?

This is a romance book, mainly focusing on Ashton and Kai, but also focusing on the others in the book a bit too.
