Two times. Same people. A mysterious spirit shows Zelda a way to see the future. When she sees Link however, she is overwhelmed with mixed emotions. Now struggling with communicating to the Link in her time, she watches him 100 years in the future in secret. Trying to keep up with her responsibilities and relationships is getting to her, but she so desperately needs to know how Future Link's story plays out, not knowing that it will change how she views him in her time. Notes: 1. This takes place before the Great Calamity while Zelda is trying to unlock her power and switches to present time 2. During my extended break from writing, I've been playing a lot of Breath of the Wild. With Tears of the Kingdom just around the corner, I figured it was a good idea to share my knowledge about the canon lore- by writing a full story about it. BOTW: The Lonely Knight
It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. The Silent Queen
~Sequel to The Silent Princess~ Hyrule has been re-built, and Zelda is now Queen, but when the pressures of ruling Hyrule gets to her head, Link suggests that they take a trip around Hyrule to take her mind off things.
