During my extended break from writing, I've been playing a lot of Breath of the Wild. With Tears of the Kingdom just around the corner, I figured it was a good idea to share my knowledge about the canon lore- by writing a full story about it. ~~~ Sequel to Hero by Heart ~~~ Link and Zelda have started restoration of Hyrule, and are well on their way to establishing a peaceful, prosperous rule. But what neither of them expected was to uncover secrets that might have been better left hidden. After everything they have been through, it seems like they still can't catch a break, and danger is ever close, lurking around every corner. **Disclaimer: I started this story after the first trailer for TotK, so this is loosely based on those events, but is first and foremost a result of my imagination. The Silent Princess
Zelda and Link have finally reunited after the Calamity, and there's a lot to do to restore Hyrlue to its former glory. On their adventures together, Link and Zelda get closer than they ever were before. Could this finally be the Zelink we've all been waiting for? BOTW: The Lonely Knight
It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing.
