Two teenage boys, a human named Luke and an elf named Noah, accidentally meet each other during their first week of junior year and a friendship blossoms. Yet, society's rules and expectations get in the way of their happiness. Society tells them that human and elves shouldn't be friends, shouldn't be involved in any way that tells people they could be in any kind of relationship. Society insists that elves are scum, that they are filth. That they are worthless. The solution? The same solutions others have used and shared with them. Midnight meetings, phone calls, texting, rendezvous at school, anything to keep people from being suspicious. The risks of being caught? Forced separation, isolation, familial disapproval, violence and outcasting towards both. They know this, so how far will they go for each other?
