"Why didn't you tell me about you leaving?"
She exhales and a tear falls
                                  "I thought you knew!"

Margaret was described as a fawn like beauty, long brown hair, big hazel eyes, soft olive skin, and a sort of innocence to her. She was clearly beautiful in the eyes of every young man in avonlea, but she didn't care for romance, what she really wanted was to write stories. Everyone knew she didn't come from great wealth, her parents being butchers and brothers working on farms around the town, but she dreamed to go to school. Her mother came to her on her birthday and announced she would be enrolled for school the upcoming week. What her mother didn't expect was her daughter to "fall in love" with a seemingly nice boy named Gilbert Blythe.

Gilbert and Anne had known each other for years, but the redhead had never been able to forgive him for calling her Carrots. However, after an incident in Maths class, Anne decides to give Gilbert a second chance, so that they can start over. They had never expected they'd become such an important part of each other's lives until they finally become friends. But... There's a fine, fine line between a lover and a friend. thank you so much for almos 21k reads?! that's INSANE. Dedicated to: V, B, S, S & M❤️ ~~~~~~~~~~~ -Hello, Anne- he said. -Blythe. -Oh so we are on surname terms again?- he said with a chuckle. -We were never off the surname terms, Blythe. -Remember on maths today? I believe you called me Gilbert. -Well, your belief is wrong. -I recall it very specifically actually... you said: "I did it, Gilbert!". -I did, but I was excited, it doesn't count. -But you called me by my name, anyway, so it counts. -No, it does not count. -But you... -Ugh, Gilbert Blythe, you are so infuriating!- she shouted and, suddenly, all eyes were on her. She blushed in embarrassment. -Alright, we were never out of surname terms, Shirley- he said along with a light laugh. -You are not funny, you know? -Well, your belief is wrong- he repeated her words mockingly, to which she replied with an eye roll. ~~~~~~~~~~~ An Anne with an E fanfic, AU. Mainly shirbert, but also includes different aspects of each character's life. I do not own any of the characters (except for Joe, Owen Davies, Evan, and Noah Akerly). 5 parts Complete Mature

Gilbert can never escape Anne Shirley Cuthbert, he's reminded of her wherever he is. But, how far is he willing to go to get her back after a misunderstanding and what obstacles will he have to hurdle before he can call her his. There are 5 parts and it is COMPLETE I'm Rubbish at Descriptions, suffice to say it will be Gilbert Blythe/Anne Shirley from the brilliant "Anne with an E" fanfic. My writing can be overly dramatic so be ready to tag along for the bumpy ride. Warning Unbetaed. A/N- I haven't written fanfic in years so be patient, if you do like this, there will be more to come. Thanks for reading everyone, appreciate it.
