There was once a beautiful young girl that was the only true born daughter of King Robert I of House Baratheon, and Queen Cersei of House Lannister. Alayne is his favourite out of all of his children. The people say that she is another Lyanna come again; uncontrollable, fierce, loving and kind. Everyone knows of the eternal rivalry between herself and her younger brother, Joffrey. 

They are going to the North for her father to ask Lord Eddard an important question that the whole realm depends upon. She is also to marry Lord Eddard's son, Robb Stark. But they have never met. Will they fall in love, or will this marriage be just like her mother and father's?

Her rebellious ways leave her father at wits end and because of it he sends her away to Dorne to with the Martell family. Her uncle has since passed and the throne was usurped by her cousin who is not cousin. A bastard of the Queen and the truth has been spread through the Kingdom, many pledging their allegiance to Stannis and those of true Baratheon blood. While Alana is in Dorne she wants revenge. On her father. On her "cousin" and on the man who made it so she was never allowed at court with her father again. Jaime Lannister. Her plan? Hit him where it hurts. His heart. Will she complete her task of tricking the lion without falling in love? Or will she find herself craving the lion, instead?
