At 15, Kera was handed two eggs and was forced out of her home and into war. These eggs hatched into the world's first dragons, but she wasn't the only one with strange new creatures. Snakes, war bears, shadow cats, and raptors were all born in the possession of children around the country. Each one destined to fight for the control of a disintegrating kingdom, but Kera doesn't want any part in the fighting, fleeing with her dragons to a kingdom in the south. What will happen when her new home is attacked?
