Lexa nearly spit out her drink.
The wedding is in two months... both Clarke and Bellamy had their separate thoughts on their relationship. Sure, they loved each other, high school sweethearts in all honor. But recently something had felt.. off. The flame was "going out" as some may say. Clarke had explained that there was something missing.. not necesarily from their relationship but rather within.. her? Being tied down from such a young age she felt inexperienced, like as if robbed of some major teenager/young adult experiences.
Not that she was old, getting married at 25 is not at all bad. But something needed to ignite a flame in her, something exciting, something hot, something fun.
"Haha, what? Like screwing a girl?" Bellamy had joked at breakfast.
When all the response he got was a shrug, he figured, what's the worst that could happen? Bachelorette thing.. right? So he set her up with one of his friends who seemed to have no issue "doin' it no strings attached"

"You cannot be serious. You can't make me - us do this!" Lexa exclaims. That wasn't quite true and Lexa knew it. They could make her do whatever they wanted as long as it was legal. It did not need to be moral. That's something that was Lexa's own fault. She had signed her life away for the second time in her twenty-seven years of existing, making just that possible. "Oh, come on, sweetheart, don't hurt my feelings now. Dating me wouldn't be that bad. I am a great girlfriend," Clarke responds instantly, sounding genuinely offended, a little hurt, and definitely mocking. "Actually, you'll find that we can make you do this and much more. I can hand you the contract you signed of your own volition if you'd like to confirm," the producer says seriously. And there it was. Lexa resented that she had already thought of that little fact, but no matter her feelings about it, she'd have to do it regardless. "Besides, this will help both of you boost your odds of staying in The Tower. The viewers have been going wild for you two online after your last challenge."
