Fear not, Here I offer a parallel universe in which Jane does not run away from Thornfield hall, as she does in the original novel.
My story starts from the moment when Mr. Rochester has already proposed to Jane, they made it to their wedding but had been rudely interrupted by Mason (Bertha's brother) who proclaimed that Rochester was already a married man and therefore not allowed to marry again. And to this Jane reacts - but our story takes a twist. - Think Cinderella but twisted.

(The ending that I was going to do was just too mean so Chapters 11 contains separate endings. You can read them all or just pick one and read it.
