AVERY CALLUM experienced a tragic car accident that left him alone. He moved away to escape the memories of that night, but ended up in a new place deep in New York. To pay his rent he takes small jobs, and eventually he is offered a job as a hitman. He reluctantly takes the job, and since he executes it flawlessly he is hired again and again, until the word of his flawless performance was heard by the mafia leader.

LOGAN MILLER's was kidnapped when he was a young child, but he was not aware of the reason behind it. As he grew older, his father died unexpectedly, leaving Logan responsible for his younger siblings. Later, when Logan was able to access his father's office, he discovered the reason behind his mother's abduction - she was kidnapped by a rival gang. This revelation led Logan to start a war against the rival gang and learning of avery's performances, he hired Avery for assistance.
