Having pushed ahead of her class, she'll be a year younger than her peers, but that doesn't bother her in the least. She's not looking to make friends anyway--this year is only about her future. As a competitive swimmer and Olympic hopeful, she's determined to make her dreams a reality, even if it means forsaking the usual high school experiences.
Nevertheless, Gemma finds herself drawn to a mysterious boy with glowing eyes. He's handsome, talented, and her heart races whenever he's near.
Soon though, she realizes there's something off about him; one minute he's playful and alluring, the next, volatile and angry. Knowing that he'd only be a distraction to her swim training, she tries to stay away from him. Fate however, is not kind to those who resist her plans.
