Olivia had always known she was different. She had come out as Lesbian a year ago, and while her friends and family had been supportive, she had never really been in a relationship. In fact, she couldn't remember the last time she had even liked someone. With all the rumors floating around school about the new girl joining their year, she had hoped that maybe this year would be different. Maybe this girl would be the one to change everything. Her name was Skylar, and she was fresh out of the Netherlands, only just able to speak English. Olivia had made it her duty to befriend her, to make her feel less alone in this new school and new country.
Her friends, Zoe, Charlotte, and Chris, were some of the most important people in her life. They were inseparable, always there for each other through thick and thin. They had watched as Olivia's spark had slowly faded over the months, as she became more and more resigned to the fact that she might always be alone. They had all hoped that she would find someone who would love her for who she was, someone she could be herself around. They knew how much it meant to her, and they wanted nothing more than to see her truly happy again.
Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd)
Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
