The book held frightful secrets not meant for people's eyes. This...is the tale of that forgotten book's last owner. It is a tale of love..."

All worlds appear to be in danger as Countess Tippi arms herself and her minions with the power of the Purity Heart! Will the legendary hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, Peach, be able to save all worlds with the help of King Boo, Prince Mario, her trusty sidekick Daisy, and a helpful pixl known as Bleck?

He finds himself teaming up with an old enemy, as everyone else refuses to help. He searches for a solution, something to help bring back what was lost. Welcome to a different world. A world where Luigi has never met Daisy, and Mario and Luigi aren't viewed as heroes. As a matter of fact, very few people even recognize them, and those who do think they're dangerous. Though the world is different, Mario and Luigi are still the same. Just two plumbers, who go on adventures to save the world and whatnot. AN: This story takes place after the events of Super Paper Mario, featuring some of our favorite characters from the game. Also has a few characters inspired from different things. I wouldn't call them OC's, but I added a few things to make them different. This story is inspired by a whole bunch of things including Tangled the Series, Marvel, Indiana Jones, the list goes on XD. But I put a lot of thought and time into this project so please enjoy!

In Their Darkness: A Super Paper Mario Story Collection by spamfan56

Tensions are high, and all throughout the universes, everyone is feeling the effects of Count Bleck's plans to fulfill the Dark Prognostics and destroy every Universe. No one is exempt from this. Our heroes aren't, of course, as they try and stop Count Bleck's plans, but not even Bleck's minions who work against them are safe from their own thoughts during these dark times. This is a collection of these thoughts; their worries, scheming, and challenges, all presented from their own point of view in their own stories. I (obviously) do not own any characters in this story, and do not claim to. This story does not intend to present itself as canon, and although it aligns with the main story of Super Paper Mario, some smaller details might have been changed for the sake of story telling. I wrote this after realizing how much more fleshed out Mr. L could have been, so these changes have been made simply to fit my version of the narrative or flesh out the characters.

All of the characters belong to Nintendo and Sega except for Rohan, Discordia, Audrey, Captain Lardbutt, Aeron, and Atlas who are completely original characters! I own nothing except for the aforementioned original characters. This is a NON-PROFIT fanfic! Warning: This story is kinda mature. Some language, violence, and suggestive stuff here and there.
