"How much do you remember?" Hazel asked kindly.
Percy shrugged and picked a little at the star-shaped flowers by their feet. "Not a lot. Just... someone who I think cared for me more than anything."
"Wow. She sounds incredible," Hazel said dreamily. "What was she like?"
He looked up at the night sky and closed his eyes. He thought hard and tried to remember the girl in his dreams.
"She smelled like oranges," he finally said. He blinked his eyes open and breathed in deep, trying in vain to find comfort in his blurry memory. "And she walked in springtime wherever she went."

The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. Everything goes perfectly for about two weeks, nothing has even been better for Leo, However almost as soon as he thinks about how lucky he is, that's when everything goes downhill... Calypso is summoned to Olympus, and is required to work for Hermes for two months as payment for her freedom, though that job comes with constantly being busy, so Leo can help but feel lonely. Even his friends had become too busy, Percy and Annabeth were busy with online school which they have been able to do from camp, Piper and Jason had become too lovey dovey (as Leo said) and Leo just felt like a third wheel. He couldn't iris message Frank to annoy him, since his job as Praetor kept him busy, and he tried to spend whatever free time he had with Hazel. speaking of Hazel, Leo couldn't speak with her either since she was either helping Frank with Praeter stuff, hanging out with Frank or kissing Frank.
