Ever wonder what happened to the fighting dog Frank rescued in Daredevil season two? Me too, so I wrote a story about it.

"No, Pluto. That's enough," the hundred-pound mass of gray fur relented, sitting down heavily on the man's feet but absolutely vibrating with anticipation, staring up at Frank with big, shining dog eyes. He whined and yowled, front paw reaching for Frank, clawing at the space between them.
Grimacing, the man laid his hand on Pluto's big square head. "I'm really sorry, he's not aggressive, I promise, he's a rescue and he's come so far in his training," The stranger was in his late twenties, with dark hair, brown eyes, and a sheepish grin. Though he had the posture of a New Yorker, his apology stank of the Midwest.
"I know," Frank said, swallowing hard, relented to the dog's pleas, and squatted down. "I was the one that rescued him."

He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle.
