"Gunblade - The Rebellion of Cain" is a thrilling tale set in a world where a clandestine organization, the Triumvirate, wields power through its elite shinobi operatives known as 'Swords'. The story follows Cain, a Sword whose life is a dichotomy between his duty and his personal existence.

The narrative begins with a tense and ritualistic scene in a rundown pawn shop, where Esai, a seasoned and meditative figure, prepares to arm Cain and two other Swords for their mission. The task set before them is to quell a rogue faction within the Triumvirate. However, the operation takes an unexpected turn when Cain discovers his wife and sister-in-law, unaware of his true identity, at the target location.

Caught in a brutal clash, Cain's worlds collide, forcing him to confront the stark reality of his life as an assassin and the love he holds for his wife. This internal conflict escalates as he finds himself torn between completing his mission and protecting his loved ones. In a dramatic turn of events, Cain rebels against the Triumvirate, leading to a climactic battle where he must face his fellow Swords in a life-and-death struggle.

The story is a gripping exploration of identity, duty, and love, set against the backdrop of a shadowy world where loyalty is paramount, and betrayal has deadly consequences. Cain's journey is one of self-discovery, as he battles both external enemies and his inner turmoil, questioning the very foundations of his existence as a Sword.

Long ago, when the world was young and humanity struggled against the forces of chaos, the gods intervened. They forged a sword, not as a weapon of destruction, but as a gift of hope. Each god poured a fragment of their essence into it-courage, wisdom, resilience, and strength. It's a sword meant for everything possible. For centuries, the blade lay hidden, waiting for the right moment to be discovered. It wasn't buried in gold or locked away in a grand vault-it rested quietly in the heart of the earth, untouched and unseen, until the time was right. When the first hand grasped the hilt, the sword came alive. Its surface shimmered with an otherworldly glow, a promise of the power within. The one who found it didn't know the gods had shaped it, nor did they understand the weight of what they held. But the sword recognized them. It responded to their strength, their resolve, and their needs. As the blade cut through the darkness for the first time, it wasn't just its edge that brought change. It was the force behind it-the will to fight for survival, for something greater than fear. With every swing, the sword grew brighter, stronger, as if it fed not on blood but on purpose. Though the gods forged the blade, it wasn't theirs anymore. In that moment, it became part of humanity, a bond between the divine and mortal worlds. And for the one who wielded it, the sword was more than steel and magic-it was a companion, a guide, and a silent promise: you are not alone. Thus began the sword's journey, not just as a tool of battle, but as a symbol of what humanity could become. And though its path was just beginning, the gods knew it would go on, far beyond what even they could imagine. (this is my very first novel. I got my inspiration from a nail clipper)

Started~ Nov 12 2021 Finished~ Dystopia: an imagined state or society in which there is great suffering or injustice, typically one that is totalitarian or post-apocalyptic. "Do you love me, Cadet?" Why? That seemed to be a question you've been asking yourself a lot lately. Growing up in the underground was tough. You needed to fight for survival, food, money, and even-your freedom. Danny, you're despicable "father", had you stealing from him any chance he got. He was slick and manipulative. Having to steal valuables for him all while taking care of two kids, Kai and Mary, was really hard. The responsibility you held was weighing down on you, making you think more about them and less about you. You didn't mind though. Anything to stay away from the sinful place you call home. After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. This is my first fanfic- Ben is now 6 years a spy, and somehow competent. A legend around the school and the CIA, he's content with his life, but what happens when an old foe comes out of hiding and stirs up trouble? What about the new syndicate and who is the mysterious Cain? This story has Berica, Zike and old and new friends. I published this on Fanfiction.net but couldn't figure out how to add more chapters. Prepare to be kicked in the emotional balls. Warning: I've become the Uncle Rick of Spy School fanfiction, so prepare to be mad at me for the rest of your life. Thanks for reading! "It felt like I was watching someone else's life. It was like a movie. Pictures flashed around me, and I saw myself receiving an award from a man in a suit. I saw Alexander I saw myself running with Erica as a silo blew up behind us. I saw a scene where I was shaking hands with Zoe, Warren behind her. I saw Warren's betrayal. I saw the moment I realized Murray was the mole. I saw myself laughing, playing on the beach with Ashley and Nefarious. I saw me desperately trying to diffuse a bomb. I saw I saw many different things. Acts of love, hatred, betrayal. Then, I saw the deaths. I saw the death of Warren, as he took a bullet to the stomach. I saw the day I was shot too, Erica above me, screaming. I saw myself shooting Joshua Hallal in the head, and Erica crying over his body. I felt a surge of jealousy at the scene too. I saw Murray Hill's hand reach into his pocket, and take out the cyanide pill. I remember... everything." Chapter 14 Has been ranked: #1 in #spyschool #1 in #benripley

Growing up in their sister's shadow wasn't easy; surviving after she left has been harder. In the nine years since their Kingdom was destroyed by the cruel Falcondar family, Kiridan has had two objectives: to stay hidden from the Falcondars, and to figure out why their sister never came back for them. They discover that she started an underground organization to overthrow the Falcondars...and then died three years ago while on a mission in the mountains. Determined to make something of their sister's efforts - and to be recognized as more than the less-talented sibling - Kiridan decides to break into the organization known as the Infernal Uprising, taking their rightful place among its leadership. But as the attack on the Falcondars draws nearer, they'll have to learn that leadership is more than barking orders, and that trust is difficult to earn. When the chaos spirals further than anyone expected, and new powers come into play from every direction, a lot of people may have to reevaluate what they stand for...whether they're an Infernal Uprising soldier, a traitor, or a Falcondar Princess herself. * Sequel to TBPEW * ¥¥¥¥ Years after all the drama between the Knight family, things are starting to look good for them. With the help from Cole's friend, Lukas, the two were able to prove that they could take over the family company. Meanwhile after the death of Orabella's father, Henry, she was watched over by one of Xavier's men and his wife. The two do nothing but make her feel suffocated, as if she can't live her life even at the age 22. As Orabella got older, all she could think about was her late father... and the man that murdered him. She then made it her goal to ruin the lives of both Xavier and his family. What happens when she applies for a job her friend suggested that is soon managed by Cole Knight himself? The man she once had a crush on as a child now stands in front of her with cold eyes. Will she continue on with the mission? Or will she leave it all in the past and move forward? ¥¥¥¥ Orabella's POV I knew just from looking at him, that the other next to him was Cole. He was tall. He had to be at least 6'3. He wore a black shirt that showed all of his muscles, standing with pride. His shoulders were broad. While the other guy's hair was styled neatly, his was more messy. In a good way of course. He had a few strands of his dark curly locks in his face. I would say that having a sharpe jawline runs in their family, him having stubbles on his face. His expression was blank and had a unusual coldness to it. I could practically feel the power radiating off of him. He seeked control. His nose was sharpe, lips plumped. I noticed the small scar going through his left eyebrow. When I looked back at his eyes I saw that he was already looking at me. I felt as my heart began to race slightly, me now feeling uncomfortable under his cold eyes. • • • • #6 plottwist - 09/22/23 #28 darkness - 09/24/23 #8 ex - 10/05/23 #1 jealous - 12/11/23
