Five rogue ghouls band together after their self-inflicted summonings to Earth in order to escape the risks of life in their home dimension. After a brief encounter with one of the Clergy's ghouls, they end up on the Ghoulish Council's and the Clergy's radars. But, after ex-members of the Clergy hack into the Council and Clergy's shared file containing information on all known ghouls on Earth, the group is forced to decide between two unwanted choices: Carry on as they are and rely on their skills to save them from slavery, or do the one thing they swore to never resort to, asking the Council for help.

Season 1 (Red Alert) - The Emeritus brothers are young. Primo is knew to his role as Papa Emeritus I and is still getting used to his ghouls. In a test of mental strength, Primo's brother, Secondo, was faced with the uncontained powers of a hellish creature of legend and was completely unprepared. While his ghouls vier out of his control, Primo and the rest of the Clergy try to help his brother escape the unearthly monster that torments him. Season 2 (Ballard of Serpents) - Secondo has just been welcomed into his new role as Papa Emeritus II and his ghouls are even more chaotic then he expected. However, an odd interaction with the Clergy's Apprentice Nurse leaves him wandering what exactly she is and what dangers she risks bringing to their home. Despite his sureness of what she might be, neither of them could have been prepared for her true identity. Season 3 (Blank Decay) - Despite a very desperate attempt to avoid the fate chosen for him, Terzo is beginning his role as Papa Emeritus III as he learns to accept his ghouls. After an incident involving another interaction with the creatures that haunt him, his eldest brother, Primo, finds himself in a complicated possession situation with one of his ghouls, suffering immensely because of it. With his brother slowly approaching his end, Terzo has to choose whether or not to give in to the main creature that has been tormenting him with a promise to save his brother under conditions that it refuses to explain. *I severely apologize for my spellings. Since my story got deleted I decided to just start over. I blame myself for not making a backup of the story, so it's gonna be a bit different from what it was because I can't remember the 30.000 words I wrote. On an early spring night two Ghouls stumble upon a sick young man. He's in bad shape so they take him to their church. His arrival is chaotic and puzzling. Will the Ghouls uncover all his secrets? Or will he uncover theirs? WARNING ⚠️ Strong language, transphobia, hate speech/slurs, (selfharm and trans) scars, weight loss/gain, gore, death, (attempted) murder, domestic violence and probably some smut.
