Louise Spencer is an 20 year old girl who has struggled with her mental health since she was young due to her troubled life experience. Jack Nellis is a 24 year old, newly qualified mental health nurse who has recently, in the past 6 months, has started a new job at MooreCroft Psychiatric Hospital where he meets distressed Louise and other patients who are just as sick as each other. Breaching the nurse practice, Jack begins to develop feelings for Louise and so does Louise. He wants her to get better but will she pick him or her illness? and will he pick his love of working in a caring profession or choose to follow his heart and go with Louise?
