Twenty-two-year-old Gloria Dodson has a weird hobby: stalking Centurions, the superheroes who protect her home city. Then she gets a chance to join them.

A stalk gone wrong gives her powers of her own. But Slasher, a veteran Centurion, thinks Gloria's far too naïve to join the team. He proposes a test: if Gloria can't catch Harpy, a mass-murdering psychopath, in two weeks, she'll have to hang up her cape for good.

Gloria assumes Slasher wants her to handcuff Harpy and hand him off to the police. Turns out, Slasher's dropped his share of dead criminals in the harbor, a revelation that nearly convinces Gloria to quit the team. But when Harpy kills a man in front of her, she realizes it's her responsibility to stop him . . . either by taking Slasher's lethal advice, or using her stalking skills to do things her own way.

Masks are Greater than Sunglasses [ COMPLETE ]

COMPLETE | EDITS COMING SOON ***** "That mask covers like 2% of your face a good pair of sunglasses would be more effective." "Hey, in every Superhero movie when they are in disguise that's what they wear and no one recognizes them." ***** Rya Morgan hates Superheroes. Well, maybe not hates. But in a world where everyone adores the enhanced, Rya's avid distrust makes her an outsider in a sea of mega fans. So when she's thrust from her relatively normal life into a classically cliched Superhero story, Rya fights her hardest to get out. Too bad her best friend Trey Roberts also happens to be the newest member of the League of Heroes. He might be new to the whole Superhero thing, but he's not going to let Rya get hurt on his watch. Unfortunately, that leaves just one option, for Trey's mysterious partner LP to intervene. For a Hero, he sure does have an off-the-books way of working that causes he and Rya to clash instantly. The more ingrained into her life the Supers become the more desperate Rya is to figure out who's targeting her, and more importantly, who LP is beneath the mask. Rya is willing to do anything for the truth. Anything, that is, except reliving the memories she's tried so hard to erase. ***** | First Place | The Pizza Awards ***** Warnings : Mild language, Mentions of depression and suicide
