Behind The Scenes

All of Vera's life, she was abused by her father and his friends. During her sophomore year of high school she finally got the courage to tell her friends about her home life, in hopes that they wouldn't go to the school about it. Vera's friends didn't listen to her request and went to the counselors the next day during their lunch period. Vera's life changed within the matter of 24 hours.

Now that Vera is no longer in her fathers custody, she struggles to find love, and happiness in a new relationship. She has been conditioned to believe that being hurt, mentally or physically, is a sign of love and affection from others. In her relationship Vera starts to question her mental and physical well-being, when her new boyfriend begins to do what was done to her as a child.
