Tommy, a shapeshifter, has always loved the heroes. They represented how everyone, even those with 'useless' powers, could be special. Unfortunately for him, one of his regulars at the café he works at, Wilbur, turns out to be a supervillain. and apparenly he wants Tommy to spy for him? He'd never. not even if his best friend went missing.
Actaully, nevermind that last part.
when Tommy comes home to one of his roommates lying on their kitchen floor severely injured and the other nowhere to be found, he takes the offer of spying for supervillains into reconsideration.
