In the local toy factory, Playtime Co. the Comedic Duo are both dragged into the factory by Luigi's obsession with collecting Luigi Dolls and wants to get his hands on a Rare Limited Edition Luigi Doll.

Unfortunately, Luigi suddenly disappeared while the Comedic Duo got distracted for a moment and are going to have to go find Luigi before something bad happens to him. This had lead the two of them to get their hands on a couple of grabpacks and eventually end up meeting various toys like Huggy Wuggy, Kissy Missy, Bunzo Bunny, Pug-a-Pillar, Mommy Long Legs, Poppy Playtime, CatNap and the Smiling Critters.

Then they soon became friends with a newly created toy with a blue helmet, a pencil in his nose and wearing a yellow shirt with his own name named Jeffy as he later became a new member of the SMG5 family.
