She tried to help the turtles, despite being confused as hell, but gets splashed with mutagen. She is, understandably, freaked out when she suddenly gets a pink axolotls features. Donnie was hurt. April had told him the truth, albeit with infinite gentleness. She wasn't interested in him, and was in a relationship with Casey. He was sad, understandably, but his attention was brought from that when he meets a newly mutated person. Look, I know that ROTTMNT came out, but I grew up watching the 2012 version, so I'm going to do a story on a key part of my childhood.
