Lost Time

The Doctor has just regenerated and has kept two little girls waiting longer than he meant to. Now the little girls are all grown up and have been waiting many years for their raggedy doctor to return to them, to take them to see the stars.
Cassandra Cassoway is a girl who has always had difficulty fitting in, always feeling like she didn't belong in this world, and when a man who calls himself the Doctor comes along and says he can take her away from all of this, she jumps at the chance.
