With the piece of fine art entitled "The Chasseur in the Forest" by the Romantic painter Caspar David Friedrich, I have created a short story based not only off of the scene in this painting, but also the artist's life and the philosophies of the art period in which he resides. This was an assignment for a class last year, and I thought it would be a good start in practicing my short story writing a little more on here.
A young French dragoon wanders aimlessly through a German evergreen forest, lost and terrified as he faces inevitable death, until he happens upon a peculiar meeting with a talking crow.
*Note: I am not religious. Any words about God in this story I have directly appropriated from Caspar's personal views and the philosophies of Romanticism.

This might be the weirdest Hazbin Hotel fanfic, but I couldn't resist. This book goes against everything you know about the Radio Demon. Alastor is a deer, right? He has horns and deer-like ears. And in common lore a dear symbolizes beauty and life. So... after a spell going horribly wrong, Angel's fault, Alastor gets thrown into the mortal world, earth. Unfortunately, before any life was born before the order of the light beings knew its purpose. So... he creates the first plants and animals and becomes the god of the earth. He watches over humanity for 8,000 years. But he has no memory of Charlie or the hotel, only what he knows now. And there is a great evil looming over humanity. An evil storm that never dies. This is my first fictional piece for something other than school that I've written! I feel accomplished, even though I shouldn't! That's a good feeling, right? Time is the story of Travis, a boy who is thrust into the dangerous worlds of the Forces, the Infinite, and-dreadful as it is-thinking. For the first time in his life, he gets to experience the world, instead of living in the peaceful forest with his guardians. Let's see what happens, shall we? Reading the Prologues is important! They're pretty much chapters too, but they're reserved for mainly stories from the point of view of Forces. This story takes place in a world separate from Earth. In this world, people have Gods and Forces. Gods are the beings they pray to, and the Forces are the things that do all the work. It's a win-win relationship. This is my first full story. You may say that it sucks as much as you want... if you want to. I'd like constructed criticism. Confused by any of the magic, physics, or beliefs? Any questions at all can be asked in the comments for each story part. Sorry, but the different font types I used for the Forces (such as American Typewriter for Death) wouldn't work. I can't change font size for some other characters either, so you don't really get the full effect. I'll try to add more description to how they talk so that the effect is not lost. The Black Bird
This is something I'm working on for fun and I'm not super great at writing so I apologize if some parts of this story comes off as iffy. The cover photo will definitely be changed at a later date so please, bear with me for a little. All art depicted on covers is all accredited to a friend of mine. It appeared suddenly without warning. There was no sign of it anywhere, it just appeared. No species on any world was prepared for it nor the chaos it brought. Its appearance was something miraculous, it healed the sick and blind, it awoke those in comas. As if it wanted everything to witness it in all its glory. But the chaos that followed was unprecedented. It changed the terrain of the world and turned society into pure anarchy. But he survived. It deemed him, this boy, as worthy. Now he has a simple task. Make it to the top of the structure, meet with God. What will he do when he meets him? That's to be found.

(Not finished, never will finish it. Funny to say, I wrote this back in my first year of high school for, honestly, shits and giggle but it blew up???? Idk... but I kinda just lost the original plot so it's all over the place, grammar doesn't make sense, nothing in this fucking book makes sense. So my apologies for the dear people whom have read this. I apologize for it being the way it is and how my mind just simply fucked it all up. I thought I could personally make my way up to the top and be so damn happy with it, yet looking back at my 14/15 year old self, it simply was a rich feeling that I was on top; to be honest, I felt like I was best out of all. Looking back and maturing A LOT, I don't feel or think that way. I understand we all have different writing skills or grammar; but that is simply just not in my case. I wrote this out of being greedy and thinking I simply wanted everyone to like it but turns out; even the painter hates its awful paintings. So you may read it if you would like, or don't. Basically, this story is just the lore of my OC, Felix. This took me.. a WHILE, and I am importing this from Google Doc, so I really hope that there isn't a huge loss of quality. This is the first ever story that I have ever completed, so please be mindful, and that this story most certainly not be perfect (although I can say it improves a little bit from the middle to the end; the beginning was when I was just starting to get back into writing stories again, and there is definetly going to be some inaccuracies in this story, for my memory really isn't the best.)Complete
Monster Beneath The Surface (Solangelo AU)
Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to!
