Universal Constant

10 parts Complete

An ailing professor reflects on his decades long relationship with a troubled alcoholic. Heath Rosco has been in love with Alexander for years, but it's not getting any easier. High school friends, turned lovers, the two men are torn apart by fate as they desperately try to maintain their relationship despite outside forces. Loosely inspired by the life of Alexander the Great. Trigger/Content Warning: heavy depictions of alcoholism throughout. A character gets alcohol poisoning on page. A character seems to be suicidal. Self harm discussed at length and depicted throughout. Some brief racism (the protagonist is discriminated against). Some profanity. A major character dies in a traumatic manner. **I'm gonna be perfectly honest here, I wanted to write something that feels like listening to an entire Taylor Swift album, mostly Folklore, like you just went through a whole relationship, not yours, but you're still emotional about it
