Murtasim's eyes widened in horror as he stumbled upon Meerab's lifeless body in the bathroom, surrounded by blood. The shattered mirror, his own doing, lay nearby. Guilt and self-loathing consumed him. "Meerab...no...what have I done?" Murtasim whispered, collapsing beside her. Flashback: The previous night, Murtasim's anger and ego had blinded him. He forced himself on Meerab, ignoring her pleas. "Stop, Murtasim! Please!" Meerab begged, tears streaming down her face. But he didn't listen. Afterward, overwhelmed with guilt, Murtasim fled, leaving Meerab shattered and alone. Haya, finding Meerab traumatized, instigated her to leave Murtasim. "Leave him, Meerab. He doesn't deserve you," Haya urged. Meerab, too distraught to comprehend, walked to the bathroom. The shattered mirror seemed to mock her. She grabbed a shard and slit her wrists, letting the darkness consume her. Present: Murtasim cradled Meerab's limp body, tears streaming down his face. "Forgive me, Meerab. ❥ A Glimpse of the Story ✧*。 "𝑱𝒐 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒎𝒖𝒋𝒉𝒆 𝒚𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒐 𝒓𝒂𝒉𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒊-𝒚𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏?" he said, his voice a mix of hurt and rage, as he pressed the gun to his chest. "𝑼𝒔𝒌𝒂 𝒌𝒚𝒂?" I raised both hands to calm him down, my eyes fixed on the black gun. My legs were shaking with fear. But deep down, my subconscious told me he wouldn't hurt me. Still, a part of me feared he might harm himself. "𝑴𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒎, 𝑰'𝒎 𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚. 𝑰 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏... 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕..." I whispered, my voice breaking as he grabbed my chin. "'𝑰'𝒎 𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚?'
