In the beautiful countryside of late-Victorian England a young girl is forced to live with her grandparents. Everyday is the same and everyone is the same. The biggest event is when relatives visit the small community in the summer times. The summer of 1896 things turn around for Yeeun when the neighbour's nephew visits for a proper break from university.

"Because I like the way you make me feel. I like the feeling of my hands starting to shake slightly and my stomach filling with beautiful butterflies. I like how my heart beats irregularly whenever you smile or laugh at me. Generally just how you make me feel my heart beat so hard in my chest whenever you're around. It sounds so wrong, but it feels so good."

"I make you feel like that? Since when?"

"Since I first laid eyes upon you."

Paper Hearts ⚊ Sim Jaeyun (Epilastory)

105 parts Complete

"Some hearts are written in paper, never meant to last... or maybe they are." She never thought anyone would truly see her. Not in the way that mattered. Han Yewon wasn't lonely-not exactly. She had friends, she laughed, she lived. But her mind was always elsewhere, lost in daydreams too big for reality. So, she wrote them down-her thoughts, her fleeting emotions, the quiet truths she couldn't say out loud. Scribbled on sticky notes, tucked inside books, left behind in forgotten corners of the school. She never expected anyone to notice them. Until someone did. Jake Sim wasn't supposed to care. He had a life full of noise, filled with people and places Yewon never thought she belonged in. But somehow, he did. He found her words. Collected them. Followed them like a trail of breadcrumbs, piecing together the girl who left them behind. And now that he's found her, will he do whatever it takes to keep her from slipping away?
