Will Byers was only 14 when his mother, Joyce passed away. This flipped his and his brother Jonathan's life upside down. Jonathan is just 18 and doesn't have the money nor requirements to legally adopt Will, so Jonathan moves out and Will becomes stuck with his closest loving relative, his father. Will isn't close with his father, mainly because his parents divorced when he was young. This new life with his father changes everything, and his relationships with all his friends begin to change for the worse. Will his friends be able to help Will through this tough time, or will Will drift away and break off his relationships with his childhood friends?
