It was Katie's 12 birthday. She though life was great. She always saw her friends depressed for one thing or another but she could never imagine her self thinking about suicide or cutting her self....she was so wrong.
After a couple of weeks, she saw her mom going on mystery trips. Receiving calls that made her "happy". Katie didn't understand what was going on but she decided not to ask. She wanted the truth no matter what it was but part of her told her it was better not finding out the truth.
Her mom came out of work at 4:00pm but came home till 10:00pm
Her dad obviously didn't know what was going on. He worked day and night. He wanted Katie to have everything she wanted, since he came from a poor family that needed money and he didn't want his daughter suffering the same way he did when he was young.
