Some people are just born with tragedy in their blood. Dorienne and her best friends definitely fall into that category, and have spend much of their lives recovering from surviving. When someone dares to hurt those they love, the gifted teens commit an untraceable act of vengeance and justice.
But the harm has already been done, and in the aftermath they lose one of their own, leaving them reeling.
Now in their early twenties, they find themselves shakily rising once more. New friends bring some much-needed happiness into their lives, as well as unexpected romance . . . even as love forms new ties within the group. Maybe there can be life after loss, however different it may be.
