Véronique Michelle De La Tourelle is tired. She's tired of dreaming of Farrah Rowles, tired of staying up at night wondering if her best friend will ever be found, or if Farrah is even alive. She's tired of her family, of her parent's hippy ways, of her sister's nonstop insults, of her sister's annoyingly knowing girlfriend, and of her brother and his new fiancée. She's tired of school and the way eevryone looks at her now that Farrah has gone missing, of the way people seem to avoid her like she made Farrah dissapear, and of the way no on seems to stop judging her. But, most of all, she's tired of looking at herself in the mirror and feeling nothing whatsoever, of feeling like she doesn't belong in her own body, of having to fight with herself over which personality reigns.
