Summary: The battle was over, and Thorin Oakenshield awoke, naked and shivering, in the Halls of his Ancestors. The novelty of being dead fades quickly and watching over his companions soon fills him with grief and guilt. Oddly, a faint flicker of hope arises in the form of his youngest kinsman, a Dwarf of Durin's line with bright red hair.

22 parts Complete
"You talk too much elf-boy," Arya muttered, her voice hoarse from all the screaming she had done due to the pain of her injuries. Legolas scrunched up his nose in disdain of the nickname, but a smile soon found his way onto his face. "I am not a boy." Her eyes opened then, and her familiar hazel eyes met his striking blue ones. A small smile made itself present on her face as she looked at him, a twinkle of mischief evident in her eyes. "No. You are not." ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ Arya woke up some years ago with a grey-haired wizard leaning over her. She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. With the outer appearances of an elf, but eyes that flash orange and strange symbols that appear on her skin - no one seems able to tell her anything about her past. She joined the quest of Thorin's dwarven company to have something to do, and she quickly became a part of their group. After a long and arduous journey but still a far away from the mountain they stumble into trouble. And whom is there to save her, but a certain Mirkwood prince with long blond hair and a pair of startling blue eyes. With one of them bursting with light, and the other filled with darkness their story will be anything but easy. Feelings, however, are hard to suppress, and with a war brewing on the horizon they might not have a lot of time. Read on if: You would like to figure out what Arya is. As young hobbits, Y/n and Bilbo Baggins were closer than anyone could imagine. Obsessed with the idea of leaving The Shire, planning adventures, and already getting themselves into trouble. As they aged into adults, their sense of adventure diminished and they turned themselves into respectable hobbits. Their lives were simple and every day was the same as the last. On a sunny Tuesday morning they were interrupted by the most unlikely creatures. A wizard who, little did they know, would turn their lives upside down. They soon find themselves in the company of Thorin Oakenshield. Now their world has changed and they must do whatever is possible to survive. Disclaimer: I do not own any of The Hobbit characters.
