Abigail was supposed to safeguard her village from the enemies, but her father kept her hidden because of concern that she could leave the castle and fall in love, which Pax, the goddess of peace indicated could be a significant problem in Don Ridden.

The Witch eventually falls into the hands of the Lust tribe's women who have refused to let her go because they know her worth.

"Please, Queen Kira, just give me back my daughter," As tears streamed from his eyes, King Orion begged and fell to his knees.

Queen Kira remained quiet for a short while, then she sighed,
"As much as I detest seeing men grovel for sex, I detest it much more when a man cries," She then said, "Guards, bring me my daughter," Soon after she said this, two guards brought Abigail to the palace. When she came in, King Orion was so happy to see her but he noticed she was leaping so he could tell something was wrong with her leg. "I would let you speak to her and after a short while, you and your insane soldiers would get out of my village, no, you alone would leave. Your soldiers are now my prisoners," she said. After Queen Kira finished speaking, King Orion rushed to Abigail and gave her a bear embrace, but she yanked herself out of his arms.

Book 4 of The Alpha Series! Cannot be read as a standalone book! Highest rank: #1 in Werewolf genre on 06/11/2019! Amelia Reid and Ivan Romanov were once childhood friends that would see each other every summer. But that all changes when Ivan stops visiting. A few years later, they meet again. But this time, they don't see each other as friends. Join Amelia's journey as she tries to peel back the many layers of Ivan Romanov while finding her place in a completely different world. *** "They show what you've been through, and I think that's beautiful." I whisper back, running my fingers through his hair. "Hell, you're ten times stronger than I could ever be." In an instant, he turns around to lay on his back with me straddling his waist. I blush at the position, his hand caressing my heated cheek adoringly. His emerald gems hold an array of emotions, flickering across too quickly for me to catch and decipher. So, I choose to admire him instead. I meant what I said. Ivan is so breathtakingly handsome that it hurts sometimes. His midnight black hair is always tousled sexily, eyes bright and alert, there's two freckles by his right brow and one by his chin. His lips are full and most of the time they're either in a frown or a straight line, but I manage to catch several small smiles throughout the day. He's quite muscular but whenever he holds me I feel safe and protected, as if I'm in a soft cocoon. "You don't need to be strong." His low murmur snaps me out of my trance. "You have me, I'll always protect you." "You protect me from the world and I'll protect you from yourself, deal?" I smile softly when he laughs, nodding in agreement. "Doing what?" he had an arrogant smile on his face and he got closer to her. "That." she nodded towards his closing in on her. Her breathing and her heart beating picked up speed. "Is it wrong for me to want my own wife?" his own body was nearly pressed against hers and he rested his head between her head and shoulder. "It is when you, just days before, resented the very fact that I was alive." she closed her eyes, trying to steady her breathing. "Maybe I've had a change of heart." he looked at her. She looked at him with her blue eyes. "I don't think so." "What if I said I loved you?" he whispered hoarsely. "I wouldn't believe you." she rested her head against the wall as her heart pounded in her ears. His eyes flashed, then he viciously grabbed her by the waist, pulled her close to him, and his lips crashed onto hers. ~~~ Andromeda Aurora Amélia the Third had dreaded the day she turned sixteen, as she would have to be married to the very snobbish boy, Prince Jacques. "Goddess," he begged. "Please help me protect my people." "God," Another one prayed in the front seat of his truck. "Please help me keep my kids safe." "They're all I have left." They both spoke in unison, reaching the ears of their respective deities. They were both some of the strongest men of faith, going through so much hardship. While one tries to protect their home, another seeks to find a safe one for his family. "I believe it's time," She spoke to the woman next to her. High in the sky they floated, their dresses dancing in the moonlight. While her dress was one with the beams of soft white light, the other woman had a dress of gold, showing the sunlight that she mainly stayed in. Her wings were pure white, her hair a vibrant red. She had much color, while she kept with the soft colors of the moon, her own hair white and long, soft as silk. "I can't promise that it will be perfect in the beginning," the angel spoke, looking down at the man in the truck. "But he is of a kind heart, even if it is untrusting at first." "I'm sure Declan can handle that," the Goddess of the Moon smiled at her. "Out of all the challenges he has faced, I'm positive that this won't be difficult for him to achieve." "Out of all the challenges that my soldier has faced," the angel grew a worried look. "I'm worried that this might be the most difficult." *** Wolf Peak has many tales of good and bad, but never has it struggled as much as it was right then. At this point, they're willing to take any chances they can to save their residents from evil in the forests. Even if that means trusting a new family coming into town. With clashing religions and trigger fingers, both men are in for a bumpy ride.

And then abruptly he backed away, taking my breath away with him. I wasn't sure what to make of the situation. We both stood there standing speechless for a moment. I couldn't help but to feel a disgusted that he would act like he wanted me and then pull away so harshly.
