Berserker: Last of the blood

"where.. where is the king?" I spoke. Lunfil's gaze drifted away from me, and soon his hand rose up, pointing me in the right direction. I turn to find our king fighting alone on the front lines, his axe on his right hand covered with blood, and his shield was in shambles, cracked, and burned. Piles of body laid under his feet; wolves, vampires, and sorcerers were all cut to ribbons. He stopped from his rampage and turned to our direction. The creatures that surrounded him stood frozen, afraid of meeting the same fate as the others.
"I know you are tired and afraid; you do not want to leave your loved ones behind, but we need to make our stand here, for we are the last line of defense of humanity. If we lose today, there will be no home to go back to. So get up and steel your nerves, men! The Valkyries are looking down on this battle. Show them what true power is!" He raised his bloody axe high. "Till Valhall!!!" With that, he roared, the battle field shook, and waves of power washed over all of us. Boosting what little morale we had.
"I guess we're staying, aren't we?" Lunfil asked with a small smile, helping me up to my feet.
