"The Bite" follows Brea, a 28-year-old freelance photographer whose life takes a sharp turn one fateful night. During a solitary road trip through a desolate highway, Brea's quiet journey is interrupted when she accidentally strikes a bloodied, terrified woman who seems to have appeared from thin air. The woman, hunted by a mysterious organization, pleads for Brea's help. Soon, Brea finds herself fleeing alongside her, catapulted into a dangerous conspiracy involving sinister experiments and a catastrophic virus spreading across the land.

The virus-an unnatural creation-endows survivors with extraordinary abilities or turns them into terrifying, flesh-hungry monsters. As Brea is thrust into a world collapsing into chaos, she encounters Milo, a mute little boy with psychic powers who holds the key to unlocking the organization's secrets. Together, they are forced into an alliance with Jack, a cunning ex-bodyguard with erratic behavior and hidden motives. Brea remains wary of Jack, but their survival depends on fragile trust as they attempt to expose the truth behind the experiment and the virus ravaging the world.
