This book is really means a lot to me. Here I will be sharing some stories about life that actually happened to me. Sometimes I write poems about certain situations, to process them. I want to share with you so you don't have to go through that yourself or so that you don't feel alone. Also here is a place to vent so feel free to spam the comment section. But don't be disrespectful to each other. If you vent about somebody without explicitly naming them, it's okay to say that they are an asshole, but don't start a war please.

There is a world out there where I could have been happy. Where we could have been friends, and you could have benefited from what I know. Unfortunately, we don't live there. This is not a romance novel. Do not think this is a romance. Not all mobile devices will be able to show all the text accurately, as I use fonts as a conveyer of mental health. Warning Every warning you can think of. There will be gore rape torture and what is worse. Also, I make stories by writing the story plot and everything, and rewriting it to fit in the small details. The chapters all the final ones but the story itself has been finished.

I would bet none of you have ever had that dream summer that all of us want.... that summer where you meet a boy on the beach and go surfing even though you don't know how to surf. That summer where you look him in the eyes while he runs his fingers through your hair. That summer where you skateboard along empty streets at sunset and accidentally steal candy from a grocery store. Well, I didn't get that, but I got pretty close to it. Because for the summer I went to an island in the middle of nowhere so my dad could start up a new one of his businesses in his chain of stores. I went to the beach. And I met Royce... Royce was two years older than me and had the prettiest purplish eyes and blonde hair. He was the most charismatic person I'd ever met. Then shortly after me and Royce's first appearance we met Jack and Koa. It was amazing and I loved every second of it, until I realized that I had fallen for Royce. And he seemed to fall for me too! Until another girl came into the mix 𖣔 "Do you hate me or not Royce?" "I wish I never fucking spoke to you because god I hate you so fucking much for making me love you! It's your fucking fault! You may notice my writing has more description than plot, I do that on purpose to give a poetry yet still story effect on my writing. There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... It's Okay to Use Your Big Girl Voice
Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem. My Goal is rather simple, to let the readers know, they too are not alone. If you are a survivor, even if you still feel like a victim, this is my personal message to you. "You are strong, and it wasn't your fault. Tell someone... tell anyone...tell everyone... We shift from victims to survivors when we speak up and tell our stories. There's nothing wrong with you, and the light will shine again.
