The annual visit that Camp Halfblood can make to Mount Olympus during the Winter Solstice does not go as usual, usually the demigods attend in the hope of speaking with their divine parents, but due to beings superior to the Olympian gods. , the Greco-Romans will realize how much they ignore and underestimate about the world, that there are beings who could confront and defeat them, that there are exceptional mortals and more.

The king of the gods, Zeus, sees an image of his throne being taken by an unknown half-blood. He decides the only way to make sure this image doesn't happen, is to send one of his own children to find this half-blood and defeat them before anything can happen. He figured the only possible way for one of his kids to find this demigod and stop them is to send his child to Camp Half-Blood. But, this "child" of his, isn't his real child. He decided to make Hera have a half-blood child in order to send it to the camp. But what happens when the child meets the supposed demigod from Zeus's image and they get along a little too well?

The gods decide to give him a second chance at life. And Josie the opportunity to help him realize that the gods aren't all terrible.
