It's been six years since dragons and vikings were united. Hiccup is now chief of Berk due to his father's untimely death, but the loss of one parent resulted in the return of another, his mother Valka. Toothless, Hiccup's best friend and trusted right-hand dragon, is now Alpha to the Dragons, after the fall of the Bewilderbeast. Hiccup has a long ride as he has to be accepted as chief and prove himself worthy and with fellow dragons riders, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and of course, Astrid and their trusty dragons, he knows he can do it. Things are looking up for the Berkians, but Odin has other plans. The return of old faces, results in new enemies and the entire village is put into danger by someone unexpected. When finally gets a chance to run, he jumps at it or Toothless kidnaps him. After all, no one will notice. ::: Book 1 ;;;; *gasp* number 3 in runaway! Ummm never mind its #1 in runaway #6 in Hiccup #3 in Hiccup #1 in Hiccup (how did this happen? #1 in hiccuphaddock #1 in HiccuphorrendousHaddockiii .... And what if Astrid lied to protect him? This story starts when the gang 15 during dragon training. Hiccup and Astrid have been going to the cove for about a year to fly Toothless and Stormfly. When Hiccup is chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare Astrid helps him run away. Two years later when Hiccup doesn't write back to Astrid and her letters start coming back to her she takes it upon herself to find him. What will happen when it Hiccup finds a new group of friends? Or when Astrid comes upon a new dragon and finds a family to call her own? What happens when a new enemy comes? Hiccup and Astrid's loyalty to their friends and tribes will be tested. As well as their friendship, relationship and loyalty to each other will be at risk. Since this is also a Hiccstrid vs Merricup please no fighting in the comments.
