I sat in darkness while I overheard ms.Willson yelling at Kayla in the next room over.
I stopped breathing when I heard ms. Willson slap Her. If I had 1 wish, It would be to get me and kayla out of this place.
If we could just get adopted, that's all I want in life, to be loved...
My family was taken from me in a fire.
I heard kala start to cry, and immediately knew that ms.Willson had left.
With no communication to the world, no phone, no radio, no doors, I thought about how the night stars would look like tonight.
