It's been two years since I left Garret, 2 years since I left the abuse and two years since I left San Francisco. I'm living in the busy city of Seattle Washington. I'm a nurse at a Level one trauma center, I also work at the walk in clinic on the weekends. I live a quiet life now with my daughter Lillie. Just a single mom working her ass off for her daughter. There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge.
