Under the Wall lies a tunnel.
A tunnel used for escaping.
Outside the wall lies a beautiful abandoned city, retaken by nature.
But there also lies an evil.
An evil that reaches and pulls, that infects and maddens.
It turns you into a creature much like a human, yet you crawl and screech and scream
Outside the Wall, lies an evil.
But inside the Wall, also there lies an evil, who believes it is good.
Who quarantines and orders.
Who starves and kills.
All for the sake of 'peace'.
And of 'safety'.
And of 'hope'.
And yet...
There are some who defy the evil within
And the evil without.
Delanie is one of those people.
Forced to leave all she has known behind, join her on her perilous journey through broken cities full of Infected, and of hunters, who not only hunt the Infected, but other people like themselves.
She meets people she never dreamed of seeing again, watches people she dreamed of knowing leave, and tries to survive through everything that gets thrown at her..
Can she fight through the evil, or will it swallow her whole?

What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. She would soon find out just how far people would go to ensure their own survival. -------------- Please check out my first finished novel. 3000s, the world was filled with fear, diseases, dishonesty, backstabbing, and fitness survival. Due to an incurable disease called 1117, which eats away at the brain, leaving people braindead and filling them with unmerciful rage, people have come together to set up Safe Zones and The Walls. Zombies. Beasts. Creatures. The Un-Dead. People placed many names on the fallen humans to Disease 1117. Safe Zones, the one lie that kept people hopeful for those who couldn't find The Walls. You could only find them in the Strictland, which was considered illegal by the Government, but people still made them. Finding a Safe Zone meant one of two things; a False Sense of Security or cannibals. If you were lucky, it was Cannibals. The Walls were secured by the Guardian Government. No one was allowed in, and no one was allowed out. If you snuck in, The Guardians decided your deadly fate the second time you stepped foot. They always find you. They shut out the world, keeping the unaffected locked away and shunning the pitiful. Within The Walls was the Garden of Eden, rumored to be looking for a cure to Diease 1117, and everyone was dying to get in. Yet, was it really beyond The Walls? Will people open their eyes to the truth? Would They break The Walls for safety for all, or keep it to live their deadly fate? Will Wooyoung return to his family, or will he tear down the lies?
