I feel like when people look at the royals, they think that we have it good.

We're rich, have a lot of power, and can do basically anything we want!

Well...that's partly true.

The one thing we don't have is freedom.

Ever since I was born, my future has been set in stone. I was basically guaranteed the role as king, even if I didn't want it.

And trust me when I tell you,

I did not want it.

Joel has always been a rebellious kid.

His parents were strict and gave him lessons upon lessons of how to be a proper prince and what fork to use when eating a meal, but none of it really sinked into Joel's mind.

And that's mostly because he wanted to do his own thing and learn how to be a knight.

What's the fun in being all fancy everyday when you can fight?

But Joel's rebellious behavior suddenly met its match when he was told that he would have to marry someone in order to be allies with their kingdom so then they wouldn't be caught up in a potential war.

But what's strange is they can see it clearly and what happens when the two meet? If you send hate or threats to me, then you're really a low life omg, this book is just some random sappy teenage love stories so yuh
