Nagano Kumiko is a high ranking demon slayer, training alongside Giyu in their childhood she too wields the ability of Water Breathing. Stationed deep in the south, she soon receives a message to return. She is to become a Hashira in place of Rengoku, filling her with uncertainty of the balance of the styles. 

When coming across Third Upper Moon, the uncertainty of her promotion is the least of her worries. Her fate is uncertain, a single meeting could very well change her life forever. Perhaps a budding romance may come of it as well, only the Fates will know.
