The first book are short stories from the 'Games' accompanied with povs from the characters homes before the games.
The 'Games' are games were each ten years the king chooses eight kids to compete against eachother... One survives and the survivor chooses how will he kill the other ones.
In these anual 'Games' he chooses one poor girl (Isabella Stahlart) and seven children from the 'chosen families' (Agoyoanye Voidbend, Freddie Youngvigor, Jucal Vernifelon, Maeylis Vernifelon, Makson Albania, Meir Albania and Vaughn Damaris).
The world is divided into four main groups of people- first you have the 'rich', the 'rich are the ones along the president who have everything they ever desired. Second there are the 'mediums' who live in the capitol, but don't have much wealth and live with small amounts of money and things, but still have enough to pay for their needs. Next we have the 'chosen families' who are the families in each district who were given much wealth and are there to keep an eye on the poor, which leaves me to the last group the 'poor' they are the ones who starve to death and work for the 'rich' while they give them a small amount of rewards for their hard work.
These games don't go as planned. And you can read all about them in these short stories.

The second book will be about the revolution they do. But that's going to take a while...

Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)

There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. (The whole story has now been published, the only thing I'll still add is the final epilogue but the story is already available in its entirety.)

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

"They look at me as if I wanted to be this way, like I wanted to become this monster hidden from the world." . + * ~ ♔ ~ * + . Daphne Dunn is just like every other teenager in the districts. Her name was written in a small paper, four times now that she is sixteen, and was dropped into a glass bowl. However, she became one of the unlucky ones when her name was selected from the bowl of hundreds of children. The games bring Daphne to the point of insanity, leaving her the shell of the bubbly, outgoing girl she once was. In some people's eyes, she was a monster. The Capitol turned her into a monster and banished her from the light of society to be known the monstrous and murderous victor they made her out to be. However, with the help of her mentor, Finnick Odair, and a lot of patience, the shadow of her might return. Something else might grow between the two, more than just a friendship kind of bond, but only time will tell. . + * ~ ♔ ~* + . Disclaimer: I do not own the Hunger Games or its characters; that was all the work of the amazing Suzanne Collins.
