After the war of heroes and villains that when his parents died by debris crashed into them. That makes him don't want be hero and he starts hate heroes and villains so much.

In space and see the colour of the rings and they are a rings of lanterns. They went to earth to find a worthy of rings lanterns.

The rings have found a young man who are worthy to accept the power of rings but he decline because he is not ready to become powerful of rings lanterns and don't want to become superhero because he is afraid.

Then he give the rings to heroes and they are surprised by see all rings chosen him and he didn't want them, they decided to take him to watchtower and the Green Lantern meet him and explain him about what all rings are ask him for why he don't want them.

He answers two things that are he doesn't want be hero and he hate heroes too. And he ask them why he hates heroes.

But the rings never leave him or choose others than him.

And he hold back his emotions (similar like Saitama from OPM that he haven't emotionally) when he use all ring. If he let all emotions go then he have full power.
