I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I couldn't do this.

"Mate!" My wolf, Odette, screamed in my head. Her tail wagging, jumping around in pure excitement. Her mate was chasing her and she was loving it. I, on the other hand, was gasping for air as I sprinted away. Everything stopped when I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist, sparks erupting everywhere our skin came into contact.

"Where do you think you're going, love?" He whispered huskily.

After my mother was killed, my father changed, he became the shell of the man he used to be. My eldest brother, the future alpha, stepped up and helped raise my siblings and I.
