Carmen knew there was more to this war than meets the eye, but she couldn't figure it out till it was too late. now, her crew is said to be K.I.A., and Carmen is barely lasting through the trials that war brings. She had been told to stay in a hidden bunker with other civilians, but now she was the only one left down there. the whole city was abandoned, forgotten, and Carmen with it.

Yeah I was in Juvie. Get over it. by moonlightariaturner
48 parts Complete
Carmen is screwed up. She's been in and out of juvie all her life and seriously there's no place she'd rather be. Until she gets released from juvie unexpectedly, given a probation officer, and forced to live with a normal family and go to a normal school. Carmen doesn't even know the definition of normal. Much less family, or school. Separated from the only system she's known and has stayed constant all her life, she finds it hard to adjust to the world outside the concrete building. The structure and rules aren't the same. In juvie, rules were like opinions, people ignored them. But in the real world, supposedly it wasn't socially acceptable to steal cash, or graffiti the front of the school building. Enter the Harrisons, the family who's taking care of her. The matriarch of the family hates her criminal record. Sammy, the seven-year-old, is too clingy, too innocent, and too naive to understand anything. Then there's Jay, the guy she's forced to share a room with. A self-righteous son of a bitch, Jay doesn't understand Carmen and doesn't understand her self destructive way of thinking. Though he's not bothered by her, he's fascinated with her. The family represents the structure and rules that Carmen doesn't, nor wants to, understand. But as Carmin starts to push back at the structure and rules suddenly rushed into her life, it starts to change. Her whole way of living is thrown off balance, what she deems normal isn't. And through a series of events, she starts to spiral out of control, and she doesn't know if someone can pull her up from that. Carmen was given a second chance, but is it a good chance, or is it just another recipe for getting thrown right back to square one, like she always is? Because second chances don't usually get handed out. And she's about to learn what it means to get a second chance. ____

While grappling with the knowledge that she killed her best friend, Carmen tries her best to settle into her new life with her mother in Buenos Aires, but she can't live peacefully as long as VILE is still a threat. When certain members escape from prison, Carmen knows what she must do: Resume the fight. But not a day passes that she doesn't think of Gray, which is seriously hindering her health, and unfortunately, her ability to fight. More than anything, she wishes her best friend were alive, but there's no way he could have survived the blast from the crackle rod. Right..? •• ϟ •• A few things first. ~ Carmen is 15 or 16 when she enrolls at V.I.L.E. This can be determined because the show opens on Carmen approximately twenty years after she was taken from Argentina. If you take the one to two years she's been causing trouble for V.I.L.E. and the two years she was enrolled and subtract that, then you can see that Carmen is more or less 16 when she meets Gray. Next, the minimum requirement to be a junior electrician is having a G.E.D. and being at least eighteen. So Gray's estimated age when he enrolls can be 18 or 19 at minimum. With this in mind, Gray is at the very least two years older than Carmen. So, no icky-nastiness involved. ~ Carmen is a bisexual woman. Those that don't recognize Carulia as a valid ship are simply blind. Still, I prefer Redcrackle, so that's the primary romance. ~ I try to keep the characters consistent with their television portrayal and maintain the original plot. ~ There's only one inconsistency I'm aware of, kudos if you find it! Her life is considered a 'Cinderella Story.' Truth is, her life is turned upside down. She'll never have her prince. Or, so she thought? Meet Red. After living in Russia for some time, she's leaving for Japan. Well, leaving isn't the right word, more of, being chased out of Russia by her father. Once he leaves the day before Red and her mother leaves, they're an almost-perfect-almost-family. But her life gets no better. The day Red leaves for Ouran Private Academy , her mother gets terribly sick. When she meets the Host Club, will her life change for the better? Or the worse? DISCLAIMER: I do not own the show Ouran High School Host Club. I also do not own any of the characters in the show. (We all wish we did though!) I only own Red, her mother, her father, and the rest of my ocs.
