If This is Our Destiny (Venti x Himmel Guardian Angel AU)

"Did it mean anything to you at all? Or were you just doing all of this because they told you to?"

"This isn't about that at all! If I was allowed to, I would've cut ties with Celestia centuries ago! This isn't easy for me either, Himmel!"

Himmel's never had an easygoing life, born into a family that didn't want him, forced to live as an orphan until the age of 18. Once he was free to go out into the world, he found that the world was far more different than the safety and security of the orphanage he grew up in. Life takes its toll on him, he crawls out of the depths of Hell with new scars not only on his heart, but on his skin; forever a reminder that the world was cruel.

And Venti had to watch it all, with Celestia breathing down his neck with surveillance, he'd pick up the broken pieces of Himmel's heart and put it back together. The tears he sheds will be the glue and his angelic hands will mold it back, and although there will be cracks and shards missing, he'll replace them. He'll find a way to fix him, even if he has to go against the heavenly principles to do so.
